Spooky Story Making

-Project Launch Friday, September 26th at 3:30 pm

Headless Ghost Galloper Thompson will light the Halloween pumpkins at Grove Library, followed by an all ages, free storytelling event and children’s craft table.

-Library Workshops begin week of 29th September
Falls Road – Fra Gunn

Suffolk -  Stephen Hall

-Anthology will be put together November through February with launch anticipated between March and May 2009.

Digital Storytelling

-Inter-generational digital storytelling project with:

Upper Andersonstown Community Forum
Elders group set to begin early October

Dee Street Community Centre
Set to begin 20th. November.

Hammer Community Centre
Elders Group to begin early November

Short Strand Community Centre
Inter-generational group to begin early November

-DVD of all storytelling pieces will be put together at the end of the project and launched at a high-profile showcase event in a central location.

Difficult Storytelling

Group development and facilitator support will be carried out October/November 08. We hope to work with one young people’s group through the Family Planning Association and one adult group.. Workshops will begin in January 09.
